Editorial Design Concept

Print Design, Typography

Indesign, Photoshop

As a Graphic Design Intern at New Face Magazine, I was tasked with designing editorial spreads for print. I would be given a series of images from a photographer and then tasked with the art direction and design for the Editorial article in question. Below are a series of projects and designs I did for this internship.

Color Theory

Color Theory is an editorial spread I designed as an intern at New Face Magazine. I was inspired by how the images utilized contrast in complimentary colors to make the images pop, and decided to use this concept as the them for the spread. The typeface is Helvetica Neue, which I chose to give the spread a clean feel, and to allow the vibrant photography to take center stage.
